Chocolate Chip Cookie in Mason Jar for #GiveEid Campaign

Sweets, whether homemade or store bought, can make a great gift for neighbors and friends. If you’ve been thinking of ideas for gifts for this year’s #GiveEid campaign, here’s a suggestion: Cookies in a jar! This example uses a recipe for chocolate chip pistachio cookies, but any kind of cookies will work. This is the same recipe as in a previous blog entry, but with altered measurements to fit a 16 oz mason jar. Recipe provided by @sweetconnoisseur.

Receiving the dry ingredients nicely packed in a jar ensures the recipient will be able to make fresh and tasty cookies, but you could even bake the cookies yourself if you want to stay true to your tradition or if you have the time. Either way, they are delicious!

Here we have a printable template to include with the jar that lists ingredients and instructions. Just cut out the pieces and tape them together to make your own label.  You can put the label inside or put it as a tag on the outside of the jar.

You can also use these alternative tag templates to attach the recipe to your jar with string
